Yes — injectable treatments can be very safe when performed by a fully qualified provider in a clinical setting. We use only Health Canada-approved products and follow strict protocols for patient assessment, sterile technique, appropriate injection sites and follow-up care. As with any medical treatment, there are potential risks (e.g., bruising, swelling, mild discomfort, rare complications) and we’ll review these with you in full during your consultation.

Most people experience only a quick pinch or sting when the injection is made, and discomfort is usually very mild. 

We use fine needles, apply numbing cream if needed, and select the most comfortable approach for each area (for example, lips are more sensitive than cheeks).

After the treatment you may have slight swelling, redness or bruising, which usually fades.

After injectable treatments at our clinic, most clients return to everyday activities right away. For wrinkle-relaxing injectables (e.g., neuromodulators), there’s virtually no downtime — you may experience minor redness or tenderness at the injection sites for a few hours, but you’re free to resume normal life.  For dermal fillers (volume-restoring injectables), recovery is still very simple — typical side-effects like light swelling, bruising or tenderness last 1-3 days, and you’ll usually see final results within 1-2 weeks as any swelling subsides. To help your recovery go smoothly, you’ll want to avoid heavy exercise, alcohol, or direct sun/heat for the first 24 hours and keep your head elevated and area clean.
